Rimfaxe, Skinfaxe, himlafålar
dragit fyra droskor då
ransplog ristat fast fåra
över Endils ursinniga ängar.
God vind vägfararnas välgång.
Vår väg som bi från båge,
framför draken; resans mål.

Gladde gjorde gynnsamt öde,
glömt var Nornas nycker.
Hejdats hade Hräsvelg.
Töcken täckte alla ting.
Härskade gjorde Hels håglöshet.
Sjöhästen stampa stilla, stoppad
av Ängrirs stilla här.

Som ur ett banesår
kämparnas krafter
vågsveparna vispade väck.

Swedish Hammer Flagby ~PeKj

I have added the three Crowns of Sweden which is an old symbol of Sweden. First used by a Swedish king in 1364.

One place you can find that symbol today is on the National Ice Hockey team.

Wonderful! Love the inclusion of the crowns, makes it look very Swedish.

England already has an alternative flag - a white dragon on red. Maybe i should get scribbling too.

Yes I think the crowns works nicely. I wasn't sure if the mix would work or if the different parts would clash with each other.

White Dragon on Red. That makes me think; King Arthur. But wasn't the Pendragons the Red Dragon?

If I can have 1 krona for each new flag, I'm all for it.

(Crossbones88 should have 1 krona too, since I used his idea.)

Though truthfully I'm not really bothered by the cross on the Nordic flags originally being a religious symbol for Christianity. The flags have been around for a long time and they are now symbols for the nations and really nothing else.

There is no magic in a cross.
